Is this the same game as Piggy Smash! Get Paid!?

Yes. One game, one download, one developer. Both stores list it as Piggy Smash: Hammer Time; this website and the wordmark say Piggy Smash! Get Paid!, and in every non-English storefront that is the name too. The short way to check is the App Store listing, which links back to this website. Note the spelling of the address as well: piggiesmash.com, piggie rather than piggy.

How do I play?

Touch and hold anywhere to swing the hammer. Slide your finger to aim it at the piggies. When a piggy breaks, sweep your finger over the coins to grab them before your run ends.

How do I pay a bill?

Open the Bills screen from the main menu. Tap a bill to pay it. Pay one on time and you may be handed a perk that lasts the rest of the chapter. Ignore your bills and the Collector takes a chunk of what you earn.

What is free, and what does the $2.99 unlock?

First Days, the whole first chapter, is free, and so is everything in it. The unlock opens every chapter after it, the rest of all four talent trees, challenge runs, and Room Decorate. It is one purchase, it is not currency, and there is nothing else to buy in the game, ever.

Does it work offline?

Yes, completely. There is no server, no login and no connection check anywhere in the game. It plays the same on a plane, on the subway and in a basement. The only time it touches the network at all is the one purchase, and Restore purchases afterwards.

Are there ads?

None. Not banners, not interstitials, not rewarded video, and nothing that offers to double your coins if you watch something first. There are no timers, no energy meter and no coin packs either. One purchase, once, and then nothing else to buy.

I paid, but the game still says free

Open Settings in the game and use Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. The unlock is tied to that account, not to the save file, so it comes back on a new phone the same way. If it still will not take, email us and say roughly when you bought it.

What is a Certification?

A rule change you qualify for by ranking up deep in one of the talent trees, not a bigger number, but a different way the run works, with a downside attached. You hold exactly one at a time. Swapping costs coins, though chapter rewards sometimes hand you a free swap. Your career always brings one option to the pool that nobody with a different career can take.

Can I change my career?

Not until you Move Out. You can re-flavour your bills to a different job within the same career whenever you like, but the career itself is locked for the cycle, that is what makes picking it a decision. Move Out is where you choose again.

What is Move Out?

It is the big reset. Clear every bill through chapter ten and you can leave for a nicer place. You lose your money, upgrades, perks, and Certification, but you keep your lifetime totals and a permanent Credit Score bonus that makes every run after it better. You also come away with Severance to spend on your Résumé, a board of permanent unlocks, and you pick a fresh career on the way out. Some weapons only ever come this way.

Can I play in my language?

The game is fully translated into eleven languages and follows your device by default. To force a different one, open Settings in the game and pick it from the language list.

Why is that piggy wearing a hat?

Because it is tougher than the others. A hat means more health and more money inside, so it is worth the extra swings.

Did I lose my progress?

Your save lives on your device. On iPhone or iPad, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID and that your app data was part of your backup. On Android, check that backup is on for the app. Deleting the app clears the save, and the two platforms do not share progress.

The sound is not playing

Check that your ringer is on and that the volume is up in the game’s settings. You can turn music and sound on or off any time in the settings screen.

Is there a version for PC, Steam or the web?

No. It is built for a phone: portrait, one-handed, and designed around a thumb rather than a mouse. The iPad version does run on Apple silicon Macs and on Apple Vision Pro through the App Store, but there is no desktop build, no Steam release and no browser version.

Is this gambling? Can I win real money?

No, and no. There is no wagering, nothing to bet, no jackpot and no way to cash anything out. The money in this game is not real and it never becomes real. It is rated 4+ and it is a game about the feeling of rent day, not a financial product. If you were looking for the casino game with a similar name, this is not it.
